Distance to timeshare

We have flown a few times but the airfare needs to be a real bargain for us to do that. When we fly anywhere we also need to add in the cost of a rental car for the trip. Gas, lodging (1 night each way) and food on the road isn't much over $500 for the 2 of us return - we'd never get 2 airfares and a rental car for 2 or 3 weeks for that.

Due to the price of fuel it's nearly always cheaper to fly for us than to drive.

You are packing already for a cruise that is a year away?

We are going on a cruise in 11 months, but in 14 hours we leave for Hilton Head Island! First time ever:whoopie:

Ohio to MOW

West central Ohio to Myrtle Beach takes the family and me about 12 hours (with restroom breaks). I think Hilton Head last year was maybe 2 additional hours...14 hours driving in one day is about my limit.

I prefer leaving early Sunday morning at approx. 3:00 am and arriving an hour before posted checkin.
