I have 3 1-bd Dikhololo units I'd like to offer if anyone is interested. Bought them in 1999/2000 and have gotten a lot of great trades through RCI. We are not into making money on them but maybe someone can enjoy them as much as we have. It's just that we are older and not able to travel as much so it's time to let them go.

I think the maintenance fees are about $250 per year per unit. Please write to me at rakal@comcast.net if you are interested.

I have the deeds and I understand the resort will help with the transfer process. Will give them separately or all together in a package deal. If you want a list of some of the 4 and 5 star resorts we've traded into through RCI glad to share them.

I gave my Dikhololo 2 bedroom away on the TUG bargain forum. I doubt they are worth anything.

Thanks, Karen. I hear you on that........yes, "for sale" were the operative words. I would certainly give them away. I see some sites where people have them for sale but making money was not our motivation.

Looking at some of the TUG posts, apparently some have simply not paid maintenance fees and Dikhololo takes them back anyway but I would just as well gift them to someone. As you know they do trade very well on RCI or other sites. It's just that we are older and not able to travel so it's time to give them up.

We originally bought them from Scott Riddle who was big into the South African resorts. Scott has since passed away but I know a lot of Dik owners knew him.

Thanks again, Ray

Thanks again, Karen. I changed my message and maybe someone will want them. We have been amazed over the years at how well our little 1-bd Dikhololo units have traded for nice timeshares.

Hey Karen,
If you are still on this forum, did you give your Dikhololo unit away and transfer ownership? If so, was the process through Dikhololo?
Thanks, Ray

Yes. Dikhololo took care of the transfer.

Thanks again, Karen. Sorry to bother you but two last question if you don't mind.

Do you know what Dikhololo charged in US dollars to complete the transfer?

And who did you work with through the resort? I have always found communication with people there a little bit of an issue but having a contact point would be a big help.

Thank you. Ray
