We have just started our research into ridding ourselves of our Diamond Resort International US Collection points (we think we will keep our Hawaii points). While speaking to a woman in the Finance department to try to get help finding which points have which fees associated with them, we said "by the way does Diamond ever take points back?" (We own the points free and clear). She said "yes, talk to the Loss Mitigation Department". So now my husband is all excited that we can go direct to Diamond to take back our points, but I think he's in for a rude awakening (like no one will even bother to return his calls or email). Has anyone ever heard of Diamond taking points back? (And in fact we asked this question just last week in an Owner Enhancement sit-down and the sales person told us NO).
