Has anyone ever successfully got a Deed-Back from Harborside resorts?

I'm free and clear on my 2-Bedroom LO, and want to give it back if possible..

Thanks !!

I have not heard of any successful deed backs to Harborside but it never hurts to try. You also might as well try to give it away on the Bargain forum. If it is a fixed week (phase 1) there are various winter platinum weeks plus summer weeks 25-32 that you may be able to find someone who is willing to pay all or at least half of the $1800 closing costs. If you own fall weeks or most spring weeks you will probably have to cover all of the closing costs and may even have to throw in all or part of next years MF to find a taker.

I've been told by Harborside sales and Direct sales that they don't take units back. The closing costs, because of the legal fees, and they not having a full sales force selling Harborside units are the main reasons.

The post above is good advice.

I know you posted your TS on the Bargain Deals forum in 2014, but to advertise it effectively, you must go back to the thread once a week and add another post to keep it on the first page of the free timeshares.

When you add a post, it bumps the thread to the TOP of the forum, where it will be seen. Posting it once and not returning is unlikely to be successful.

The OP has not been back to TUG since their original post, so you may want to click on their blue user name and then "start a conversation," to send them a message.

But yes, because of the high transfer cost and MF's, off season weeks have no resale value.
