Where have you been this has been all over the news for a couple of years.
If I watched the news and reacted, I would never drive a car again. Speeding, car jackings, shootings, murders on the freeway. 40,000 killer and millions severely injured every year.

I can remember when the federal government bailed out many large banks years ago. Sorry, I meant the tax payers of the United States bailed out the banking industry years ago. IMHO.

Why would any scammer bother stealing mail which is a serious offense? They can just go down to the grocery store and take a picture of someone writing a check. All of the information you need to print fake checks is in plain view.
Stop giving the bad guys how to steal.
