Looking for summaries, please, when it's all over! Then the reconciliation of what different people heard.

Mostly what we already discussed. They are following CDC guidelines for sanitation. They didn't specify an open date but did Mention that reservations up until May 25th were being canceled. They also said they relaxed the cancellation policies on reservations up to May 31st. Reservations after that still have the original cancellation policy. Points deposit deadline is extended, fee waived. Wyndham points conversion fee waived. They discussed options for RCI, converting points to maintenance fees, plus partners and Club pass. You can use rollover pints for Club Pass. They are not allowing previously rolled over points to be rolled over again. Points already rolled over cannot be put into RCI. They are removing the minimum deposit for RCI. That's pretty much it.

I personally HATE all the website with HUGE pictures. It is just more scrolling to get to the stuff you really want. They are creating the websites like marketing materials, when in fact you are already a member and just require "retention" not "attraction". Sure hope they figure that out at some point.

The new one has very few graphics. Not sure if you saw my earlier post with the photo.

Owners are generally older. They are probably trying to make it more 50+ friendly. The older people on this forum are the exception.

That was a complete waste of my time, but I'm sure many got a lot out of it. They provided a lot of information that I think will help people. They should have recorded one of these and made it available for those that couldn't attend.

I have to agree that it was a waste of time. You could see their agenda, though. Make your vacations BIGGER next year, not necessarily longer or more often. Utiize RCI, Wyndham Reward, MF, car rental, etc. Those wouldn't be my choices though it will be easier on everyone if more people opted for different avenues to spend their points. Free month of Showtime is the only thing that I gleaned (although I don't need anymore shows to watch.) lol

OH BOY! SUCH A GREAT DEAL SIGN ME UP!

Oh wait, I'm resale so I don't have the luxury of getting these "benefits"....oh wait look! I can stay at Clearwater using Priceline for cheaper than it would be to convert 75,000 Club Wyndham points into 30,000 Wyndham Reward points!

It's listed for $220 a night and 75,000 Club Wyndham points costs me $420......such a great DEAL!

I just signed on to the new website, with considerable trepidation after suffering through the last DISASTROUS "Improvement" of the website.
To my great surprise, I was immediately able to choose from 7 different sizes of units, all for my chosen Check-in / out dates and at the desired resort.. Smooth as silk! Maybe I was just lucky..............

It works well if you know EXACTLY what you want. If you want to see what flexibility you might have regarding check in dates and length of stay you have to.......search click scroll click....., search click scroll click......over and over again. Plus you'll need pen/paper handy.

Not only do you need to know exactly what you want, but the location you want needs to be available when you want it. The search works well if your vacation dates are fixed, but it is terrible if you know exactly where you want to go but aren't necessarily fixed on the date. With the calendar you could see if there was only one day that caused a conflict or if there was another week that was a possibility. Now you have to keep searching over and over again to hope to get lucky with a string of dates if you are looking to book at a popular time. This is ridiculous!
