Waikiki project? Haven't heard about this. Is it a room conversion of the Marriott hotel across the street from the beach or a brand new project from the ground up? If it is new where is it located?

We went to Costa Rico in early Dec. 2018 and spent 5 nights at the Punta Islita and El Mangroove hotels. I’ve only been the one time but the weather was great at that time and it appears to be off peak as far as points go. It will be a drive, but when we go we back we will likely combine a week at the timeshare with a stay at Punta Islita. Punta Islita is one of my favorite hotel stays and was the best use of suite night rewards I’ve had.
