Given I have an EZPass and live in NY, I wonder if I can just use it in Florida now: https://www.cfxway.com/e-zpass/ makes it sound like that's likely to work.
My EZ Pass transponder from Maryland works fine on the toll roads we've used in Florida, which are the Beachline and the Turnpike that I can remember.

Clark Howard on his 9/18/24 podcast discussed devalued hotel points/ loyalty programs. He thinks aasaaa is the worst. And he further goes into the best and fees.
We always use our free nights, which to me balances out the fee, but it got me thinking. We have 1 million points. Should we use the and switch to a better card? Loyalty seems to be one way.

I assume these podcasters have sponsors? Might be a reason he values one over the other.

My understanding is he does not though he does sell advertising I believe. I watch his video podcast quite often and do not recall seeing any breaks for advertising on the podcast nor seeing any evidence that his discussions are colored in such matters. He seems to be an equal opportunity hater of such programs. He had a follow up on his "Clark Stinks" segment where he invites people to send in criticisms and he airs them as questions then discussion. Someone wrote in saying they got value for IHG points and CH also stated he'd had notes saying good things about the Hyatt program. He also stated on that segment that he had had no similar notes supporting the Hilton or Bonvoy.

This well could just be his listeners - we've seen posts in this thread of people supporting the Hilton (and Bonvoy) programs. I wonder how many CH fans / listeners would also be people to bother with loyalty programs at all given his general dislike and strategy of just picking the absolute lowest price in a segment on booking.com or whatever.

Obviously his audience is going to be oriented one direction, this group a different direction. This group is an outlier from both a timeshare and rewards angle. His group will be better informed than the masses but in a different way than TUG, we're a fringe group. Overall we're extremely knowledgeable and motivated to be the ones that come out ahead over the rest of each of those populations.
