After years and years of real trees we finally got a pre-lit fake tree three years ago. It wasn’t cheap and It was hard for this native Pacific Northwest girl, but I don’t regret it.

I really appreciate the ease of assembly, no stringing the lights on the tree, no watering, no shedding needles and no disposal of the tree.

We went with my daughter in Seattle to a huge fancy nursery for her family’s tree. Somehow, they had the trees hanging from the ceiling so you could spin them around to look at all sides easily. You paid for the tree, got in line in your car, and they brought your tree out and tied it on the car for you. $150.00 for a five foot Douglas fir. I was shocked.

Bit of a Charlie Brown tree for us this year, but we couldn’t resist the bargain section at the local tree farm. Finally got it decorated tonight. Merry Christmas all!

Nice. A real tree. We haven't had one of those for a long time. I bet it has a good aroma.

I get this. We use to cut our own tree every year. It requires a Jeep or snowmobile to get to the Christmas Tree meadow. The tree's smell so good. Disposal was always fun as we lit the tree up along with all of the Christmas package garbage out back. I kind of miss the tree smell but like that we can put the tree in the office and pull it out at Christmas time.

The best thing about a pre-lit fake trees there are no pine needles to clean up. LOL

Bluegreen Points Lodge Alley Inn.
Brewster Green (two weeks).
I've gone from a live full size tree for this corner to a live small table top tree. Sigh. Maybe next year I'll get back to a full size tree...

Plus mine is only 3 pieces and pre-wired with lights. They can be colored or white or switch back and forth between both. It literally takes 10 minutes to put up. I recall when we first got married, we had a tree with colored branches that took 2 or 3 hours to put up. Then you had to add the lights. Forget that!
