Hello! I am looking at several biennial (odd/even year) usage contracts and am confused when figuring the MF price per 1000pts. Is there a different kind of calculation for biennial contracts because I'm getting higher MFs than those that I've seen posted on our Sticky MF list of MFs per resort, even given that those are a year old.

For example ... 105,000 odd year Biennial contract
Yearly MF x 2 = full MF for the contract points
Full MF/105 = MF/1000pts

Is that calculation correct?

Also, how would the program fee be charged for a biennial contract? I currently pay the .56 per 1000pts program fee so would I get charged for half of the contract points every year or full charge every other year, when the points are awarded?

105,000 biennial contract should be calculated as 52,500 every year. You will pay the minimum program fee every year (assuming this is your only contract). You will be charged MFs for 52,500 every year, subdivided monthly.

If you are being charged .56 per thousand then that means you have at least 233,930 points to cover the minimum program fee of $131 for resale points. If you add to these points with a biennial contract then the calculation will be 52.5 x (MF per thousand +.56). For monthly divide the total by 12.
