Just got an email from HGV offering 2 years of membership for the price of one with a bonus week if they deposit before January as the resort has affiliated with Destination Xchange. I had wondered why my Bay Club contract was being split off on the website and now the picture is clear.

Honestly I am very tempted to do this, because DeX without upgrading to Max or picking up another contract is appealing.

DEX is way better than HGVMax.

So far, HGV/DEX is rolling this out to non-mandatory HGVC resorts.

Welcome to the DEX party. They opened that for Craig Lodges owners last year and we did it. It provides nice options. Looks like you will be in DEX US though where we are in DEX EU. Will be interesting to hear if you have any of the same challenges signing up that we have had.

do you have the option for either HGVC points or DEX even if you week is link to the HGVC points?

Yes for Craig Lodges. You should double-check for Bay Club US DEX. For DEX EU this is like RCI or II where you need to take action to deposit your HGVC into it. Unlike RCI you cannot do an instant exchange. You need to deposit then book the deposit later. For DEX EU it can take weeks to a month or two to get the deposit. We will be interested in hearing your experience with DEX USA.

This is a great value add for Bay Club. If the locations are of interest the 2:1 bonus week is a great promo if you can use the bonus week within 1 year of deposit.

BTW... @Mowogo This offer says it expires Jan 31 and you just received it now? 2.5 months later...

We got this email too. Things is, we sold our Bay Club deeds more than 2 years ago in favor of a Kingsland deed.

I am tempted to call anyway. Although we enjoy using what we have - Kingsland for Big Island, W 57th for NYC, P@P and Lawai for Kauai. Not sure what we would e willing to exchange - unless they will take Worldmark.

They just sent the correction email, it is now deposit by May 31 to get the 2:1 bonus. Definitely on my list of things to inquire about, but I’m still recovering from seeing The Killers and Wyclef Jean last night before going to Coachella today.

Is there a list of HGVC resorts that can enroll in DEX US?

Not that I have been. So far, I have seen Plantation, Craig Lodges, and now Bay Club

I believe some other Gulf affiliates but those owners tend to use their units so probably low uptake.

I believe that Club Regency is the other FL Gulf resort that can trade in DEX

I haven't heard of the owners being offered the option to enroll in DEX though. Craig Lodges was already in the guide before we were offered the ability to join. Not sure how the inventory went in if the owners couldn't join but it was there.

well I guess I have to investigate DEX what is the easiest way to get that info?

I created a thread a while back with info about it and all 4 of the guides were posted.... Since there are 4 versions of DEX.

In this forum or another forum? Problem is DEX is too short to search on.

I really need to go back into that thread and add some more recent knowledge

All of the DEX guides are in the Sticky. Bay Club will be part of US deeds, I believe.

Is there a Bay Club Tier Chart? I can't find one of the website.

I don't see one in the latest DEX EU guide. Might need to call the numbers in the email.

I didn't even get the email, but I see the login on my HGVC page.

There is a log in? We don't have that. In ours, you can log directly into DEX EU or select a different account after log in to go to the hgv version of DEX EU.

I see this when I got into HGVC, one for each of my BC weeks and one for the rest of my HGVC account.
