 what a game!
what a game!I am so glad we are retired! That was a long night!

Dodgers and Red Sox went 18 innings in 2018. Max Muncy ended it with a 3 run homer.I take that back they're all awake now. What a game, Dodgers overcame a lot of errors tonight to win. Tomorrow is going to be a tough game. They played two games in one day and tomorrow's temperature is going to be in the 90's. Should cool off when the sun goes down, but the Santa Ana winds will be blowing. Hopefully, blowing towards center field.
Hats off to Will Klein for coming in clutch in those last innings. No more pitchers, Dodgers bullpen was done. Yamamoto volunteered to go in and pitch after a full game in Toronto. When Klein came in he was done for the day. Yamamoto was going in.
Was this the longest World Series game ever?
That is what it was. As a born Sox-fan, I kept thinking "Muncy", "Muncy", this guy used to do things. Good things. Last night, he looked like a Little Leaguer who needed a pep-talk from his mom. He went 0 - 7 & in the field he made one bonehead play after another. He is now one of the slowest MLB 3rd basemen I have ever seen.Dodgers and Red Sox went 18 innings in 2018. Max Muncy ended it with a 3 run homer.
You got up to get a drink at 3 AM?dammit, i got up to get a drink and they hit a home run to end it!
ha, that was written poorly. I was still working and watching the game. Id gotten up out of my chair to get a drink and the game ended before I even got back! You got up to get a drink at 3 AM?
Yes, that Ump had a different strike zone size depending on who was at bat. Then on that ball he didnt say anything, as per normal on a ball, and after Daulton started walking to first and Bo who was on first, went to 2nd the Ump called strike. The players were too far from a base and got tagged out which cost the Jays at least one run.A shame the umpire affected the game early on with a late call of the strike that everyone knew was a ball.

Looks like the World Series will be won on Canadian soil for the first time in 32 years.
Bush league plays by the highest compensated team in baseball this year.Yes, that Ump had a different strike zone size depending on who was at bat. This afternoon on some newspaper site (I read a lot so cant remember which one) I saw this; "Home plate υmpire M. Wegпer has beeп sυspeпded peпdiпg aп iпvestigatioп, after M.L.B officials ideпtified a series of coпtroversial calls dυriпg Game 3 of the World Series". Whatever the decision, it wont help the Jays now.
Bring on the ABS system! https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/46357017/mlb-approves-robot-umpires-2026-part-challenge-system

A fabulous game! And we didn’t have to stay up until 3:00 a.m.!

Yes! One late night was enough! I had a nap yesterday afternoon in case last nights game went late again. I just hope they win the series on Friday night. We leave for Florida early Saturday, and if there is a game 7, we will need to watch it in the motel room, on a dinky TV, just like we did for the 1992 game when we were on our way to Williamsburg, VA.A fabulous game! And we didn’t have to stay up until 3:00 a.m.!
