Baseball playoffs

It would be nice if the Blue Jays win tonight and win the World series against the LA Dodgers but from the teams payroll, I hope Seattle will win the World Series because they have the lowest team payroll of the 3 teams.
I'm tired of seeing teams like the LA Dodgers or the NY Yankees winning the World Series because they spend much more money than the other teams.

2. Los Angeles Dodgers, $321,287,291
5. Toronto Blue Jays, $239,642,532
16. Seattle Mariners, $146,793,414

It isn't all about payroll. That can make you consistently competitive, but it may not always win championships. Just look at the Yankees. They haven't won since 2009. The highest paid team this year, the Mets, didn't even make the playoffs. It takes a lot of luck, people staying healthy and a cohesive clubhouse.

That said, I would have no problem seeing the Dodgers lose to either the Mariners or the Jays. They came into MLB in the same expansion year.

Edited to add: I looked at the link and it seems that the Blue Jays have the fifth highest payroll in MLB.

After the game five loss, I suspect most Blue Jays fans are happy your prediction was wrong.
The Jays fans are so happy my prediction was wrong. LOL
I was watching the Cowboys on the television whipping Washington in Dallas, Texas.

The Yankees have not been in a World Series since 2009.
