Are you going out more now that you have a mask?

A woman in our community sent out an email asking if anyone would be willing to help make masks for the fire department. About fifty people showed up . Jobs includEd getting supplies, cutting, washing, ironing and sewing. We made over 700 masks in about one week. One woman washed, ironed, and individually bagged them all. 160 went to fire department, ten went to our office and restaurant staff, the rest were given out to members of the community and to nursing homes.
Unasked, over a thousand dollars was donated by members of the community who didn’t volunteer their time. None of that money was needed for the masks as people donated material, cord, pipe cleaners, etc. so a check was sent to the food bank for $1066 from the community. I feel so fortunate to live in this community.

i had to go to my orthopedic doctor and a mask was required.

That's a great story! People can be great, given the opportunity.

That's my son's and son in laws style. They both offered to cut mine but I said no. I still like mine long but now it is totally 70's rock star long, lol. I thought about trying to cut the sides off a bit after I cut the front but didn't want the Joe Dirt look.
Sounds like you have the foundation of a good 80's mullet -- I say go for it!
