Unlike @mtravelers started out sloooow. Limped in with a 5. Could easily have been a six in that there was at least one other letter that could have gone into the fourth position.

I think stole was referring to a woman's scarf as in a mink stole.

I might be wrong about this, but I also think they allow past tense as long as it is not just a matter of adding a "d" to an existing word.
