My father-in-law, who had 6 boys and 6 girls, always wanted a FRANK, so I chose wisely due to him. (No children named Frank, though, just a nod from Wordle).
Four. Had the three middle letters on line two. That left three possible words (that I could think of). I originally put in the correct word on line three but then (alas) changed my mind. Oh well.
I chose a little unconventional starter this morning which didn’t help much. But, I had 3 letters in place on my third try and quite a few options remained for the missing letters, It took me two more tries to CLOSE it out.
Three. I like to vary my opening word every day but within a set of parameters that I have set. Today's opening word was a low point (literally). Not surprisingly struck out. Recovered for a three.
Strongly considered using a burner, but took my chances. Thankfully passed over SHARE (don't tell my grandson, it's one of my favorite words (that he uses) these days). (SHARE means I want what she has and she won't give it to me).
I use the same first word as Sandi Bo.....STARE.
I generally then try the word......PINCH, to see some additional letters, even though it eliminates the possibility of getting a "TWO".
I wish I had put in PINCH for my second word today.....I would have at least gotten a THREE.
Ironic that the four consonants in PINCH could have been the second letter in today's word.
