Five again - on a roll!
I realize I messed up with ERODE (it seemed like such a great word, oooops). But maybe I needed it to figure out CREDO anyways? Tis done... on with the day :)

I started with a BLAST! Well, it was a dud. Next, I lowered the decibels with CHIME and came way with the starting C and an E. I then debated CREED and CREEP for a minute before going with the former. That left me with CREDx. Give me an O for CREDO!

Two

After guess 1 I was looking for a word that added O or U (preferably O) and that put the R, E, and D in new locations. I also thought about ERODE, but I decided on CREDO because I thought checking another consonant was more useful than checking for a second E.

This was a hard fought 3.

I tried multiple combinations and couldn't come up with the answer. I could r/o erode and decor cause of letter placement. I put the O at the end and pulled out credo from the dimmest reaches of my brain.

Six. Had all five letters at three, but took three tries to get them arranged right. :D

How good are you at anagrams?

Some anagrams are pretty good for me. Today, not so much. I blew it here because I didn't realize I had the fourth letter in the wrong spot on two of my guesses. D'oh!

I'm great at Wheel of Fortune in my Living Room. (Where you don't lose your turn for a wrong guess. :D )

I got bumped out of my streak the other day - Wordle finally reset to someplace close to my time zone (it still doesn't reset at midnight), and when it did it wiped my streak in the process. Then, of course, two days later I bombed out and had to start again! LoL.

Four today.

There is a very bright orange orb shining into my sunroom this morning, so LIGHT seemed appropriate. An L and G both out of position. I decided to try GLxxx and the first word I thought of was GLORY. Got the GLO right so this should be easy, right? Meh. The options I thought of were GLOBE, GLOVE and GLOSS. I prioritized and went for GLOBE. Nope, but the E was correct so it had to be GLOVE. Getting the L and G right off the bat made this one pretty simple.

4 for me. Another 50/50 guess that went the other way.

I thought WORDLE might be trying to be tricky with a double E word, so chose ELOPE ahead of GLOVE. I didn't even think of GLOBE as some of you did. If I had, I probably would have gone with GLOVE first.

Four. It wasn’t necessarily what it says it was. I used unusual words on purpose.

A quick, but unsatisfying, four.
One of my favorite musical genre is the BLUES and that seemed like a good place to start. The middle U was correct. Next, I went with TRUCK to hit the common consonants T and R and the less common C and K. Added the starting T. Niw I’m thinking the second letter is either an O or A. Going with the A first, I think of TAUNT and get nothing. Going to the O, I see TOUGH and it’s a winner. Not really a tough word that made me think a lot.
