Anyone have Consumer Cellular service?

Nice that they auto-upgrade... it's been useful, but...
You need to remember to manually reset to a lower level for the following month.

I've been an AARP member for about 12 years and found their discounts useful.
We've saved $$ at Consumer Cellular, restaurants, car rentals, and hotels.
In March, I start their sponsored UHC Medicare Supplement. ... So call me a fan.
<I know that for some, not so.>

We still use PagePlus (now owned by Tracfone). Late last year, they notified us that our old flip phones would no longer work on their network (Verizon) after January 1st. It seems all phones must be 4G LTE. So we had to order new phones from them. They only had one that was a flip phone that would work. I was able to get our service migrated over to the new phones using their online chat and it only took a few minutes. We use these phones mostly for emergency or when traveling. The new phones only cost $20 each and we only pay $10 every four months for service on each of them. Our two phones cost us only $60 every year, less than some people pay each month for smartphone service.

We've been with Consumer Cellular for 4 or 5 years and have been very happy with them. Last year we travelled to the east coast and to the west coast and never experienced any problems. And our Consumer Cellular bill is less than 1/2 of what we were paying AT&T.

Us too .................. never a problem. We each have a phone now, and only pay half of what we paid for 1 with Verizon. Same coverage too!!
