Has anyone bought or sold through Timeshare Rescue of Orlando, Florida? I'm negotiating with them now and would appreciate your expertise.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Thanks, Denise.
Lots of negatives re: transferring your timeshare to Timeshare Rescue but I don't see anything about buying from them. That is what I am considering.
According to their website, they are Better Business approved.

Any commercial entity willing to pay the BBB its membership fee can actually claim to be "approved" (once their membership fee check clears). Only when an entity amasses a number of formally filed complaints against them (a process which the powerless BBB does not make at all easy) does the empty "BBB approved" claim become potentially jeopardized.
I don't know anything about Timeshare Rescue, except that they are a PCC in the genre of Timeshare Freedom, We Collect Timeshares, etc. My only point in responding to the quioted portion of the post above is to recommend not putting too much stock into the meaningless assertion of "BBB approved".![]()
Timeshare Rescue/ Wanted Weeks and Resort Transfer Services are the trio I with which I am familiar, and they are based in Denver, with Denver local phone numbers.
Is this a different company called Timeshare Rescue?
Buying from companies like them is usually not a problem.I was contacted today by Timeshare Rescue of Florida, and was informed that they use an in-house closing company, Elite Resort Transfers, LLC. for escrow and closings. They promised to cancel the deal if, on reading the deed, I had reservations about continuing with the process.
So far, no money has been laid out. Not sure what to do to protect myself.

BUT IMHO, you need to ask yourself "Do I want to buy from someone who likely told huge lies to the owner of the TS, to get the owner to sign over the TS to this company?"
If you don't care, then you'll likely do just find using their own in house closing company.
You probably are right.I've seen quite a few threads from TUG members complaining about problems with eBay purchases from many of these sellers- everything from bad service to actually being transferred a different resort entirely.. I'd say I've seen more negative responses than positive..
"Usually not a problem" may be a bit too kind. Kind of like saying playing russian roulette is not usually dangerous since there's only a 1 in 6 chance you'll get the bullet!
Your wording sounds too much like encouragement for my taste!
If it's a whole new name, how do you know it's the same person ?after being suspended for spamming the forums, she registered a whole new name in an attempt to do the same.
