Anybody having Windows 10 Update Issues for version 2004?

We just had the "Can't Open Excel" problem. It was on Office 2010.
I thought I'd need to buy a more recent version to install, but first:

I opened Window's Settings for Apps and scrolled to MS Office.
I clicked "Modify" and then "Repair." It did its thing and I rebooted.
Now, Excel opens without a hitch.
 
If you have problems with Windows 10, there is a technical support service provided by Microsoft. This support service is not well known, but it is FREE and the technicians deal with nothing else but Windows 10 problems. They can provide support for Microsoft 365 applications, but they are best when dealing with Windows 10 issues The toll free number is 1-800-642-7676. The technicians are located around the world and are working from home. My last call had me connected to a woman in Nicaragua. She was very knowledgeable and we decided after 30 minutes that a reset format was the only thing that would solve the problem that I was having. (PDF's attached to my emails would not open and reported as corrupt. Problem popped up after April series of updates) It worked!!

Ya gotta wonder how Bill Gates became so rich with such a problematic software.

that will work if you use the computer for internet but some programs like Photoshop require WIN or Apple
