Anybody else have CW website login issues?

But, after reading about how Wyndham went to war against mega-renters, it's quite possible to believe they analyze customer behavior!?

They also read the messages here on TUG.

The Wyndham RCI portal only displays points deposited to RCI from Wyndham and the resulting exchanges. To access weeks deposits (and presumably including your PIC deposits, though I don't own any fixed weeks or PICs so I don't know firsthand), one must log in directly to RCI.com. As I understand it, it's the same account number, but with different entry points that each handle a different type of deposit.

The RCI account# that is shown on my Ownership Details page is the RCI account where I deposit weeks with its own login.

The Wyndham Exchange portal automatically logs into a special Wyndham 'basement' in RCI.Com and that place only shows my club id and Wyndham related points. This is separate and protected from the larger RCI environment. And, when the portal times out, you get the RCI login screen which will not allow you to reach the Wyndham 'basement'. You have to go back to Wyndham and get back to the basement through the portal! More like a tunnel!:)

It was confusing back when I deposited points into RCI and then when I learn to deposit PIC weeks into RCI.

The best analogy I could come up with:
It's like having TWO separate safe deposit boxes at a bank. Except that one of these boxes is located in a special vault with its separate access and verification process. Only, you can't transfer stuff from one box to the other! You have to consume them differently.

My account is supposedly inactive. Anybody else have this issue?

Sadly, maybe Wyndham found out who I was, that I was the TUG rescission master, and so on.

It’s no biggie. I’ve paid $446 total for 346k pts usage or effective MF of $1.38/1K. Too bad. I actually loved Wyndham and their resorts for a while.

@SNA27 @dgalati @chapjim

I'm good. Nothing going on here.

I tend to agree that this is not something punitive.

On the subject of Portals, I am seamlessly transported between my BofA and Merril Ege accounts via a two-way portal. I guess Wyndham and RCI interrelationship is a whole different thing.

lol, Wyndham Worldwide owns RCI, no reason it should be difficult to have seamless integration.

Wyndham is old! The flesh is weak, and the spirit is weak too!;)

Any luck getting back in your account?

But does she? ;)
For the most part, no. TS isn’t her hobby. I’ve tried to show her how to use the website, but she quickly lost interest.

Register the account again on login page. Use a contract number when prompted over using a ph#. I have had to do this a few times. Phone# wouldn't let it register again but a using contract# worked.
