What month was your visit ?
We were at Los Tules in Feb 2024 and stayed 2 weeks in Building #6 and had no creek smell.

I hope that's true! I still think we would not consider this resort due to the possibility of the smell. By the way, have you seen the big gator in that creek? I'll post a photo of the beast if I can find it now.

Yes - I believe her name is Poncheta
[ she was called Poncho - until it was discovered she was a female Crocodilio]

We also saw a few small ones up by the sidewalk of the main road . [ Mx 200 / Av Francisco Medina Ascencio ]
