Apparently he was never tested positive and is one of the many cases of “it’s COVID because there isn’t anything else it can be”. My question is why didn’t his doctor have him tested? See! People in NY aren’t getting tested. I’ve been here in FL for 7 weeks and I have met many Florida residents who are flocking to get tested because they are “curious” without symptoms. This guy up in NY is sick and his dr doesn’t have him tested? Something tells me they all have the mindset of “if you’re not going to the hospital then there is no need for a test” this is why NY numbers are so good...... I don’t buy it. I’ve been seeing many through social media not adhering to Social distancing up there.

im more concerned with him not being tested. I’ve seen other pictures from that weekend where I can guarantee there are plenty of asymptomatic cases or even slightly sick in the crowds without masks.

I'm in Suffolk County, NY and am seeing mostly responsible people, wearing masks and social distancing. I had a Covid test and antibody test last week, prior to returning to work (summer school). I received the results in 2 days.
I have a colonscopy scheduled for 7/22 and I was told I have to have a Covid test 72 hours prior.
My MIL will hopefully be released from rehab next week. The facility told us she has to have 2 negative tests prior to discharge. (she has had Covid and has already tested negative since the illness but they are insisting on this).

You are free to go around hugging maskless people, but I've been being very careful and this crossed all boundaries for most of us that have been being careful and distant. I don't hug my own family or friends.

Sounds like there is a lot of flip flopping in his story. He was tested, but didn't get the results. He was tested, but didn't test positive. He wasn't tested.

In a pandemic where distance matters, I don't think it's so weird to be creeped out by someone coming at you maskless to embrace. We aren't doing that right now. For good reason.
