Advice on selling timeshare with a booked week this summer in CA

I would like to sell my timeshare from Channel Island Shores in Oxnard California. It is a 2 BR and I have a week booked from June 14-21 2024. I can see that listings to sell timeshares are basically free. So my question is what should I do? Bank my week in GPX to use later in the year or could I get at least the weeks monetary value of the sale (seems unlikely)? Do people who list timeshares for free have a week available that same year? I am just starting this process and any advice would be so appreciated.

Your choice. Use the week if you want it, then try to sell (most likely give away). Or include it in the transfer, but maybe you can bank or book the week for the new person and the date they want. Most people won't want a timeshare without a current week available.
