Happy Aloha Friday

I do enjoy it because I love Hawaii, but it does wear me out. If people ask me about Hawaii I warn them, it's like turning on a faucet that you can't turn off. 😁
Since you sound like an experienced Tour Guide, I'd appreciate your tips on Maui. Ill be taking some friends in December. I've made too many trips there to count. This will be their first visit. Oops, didn't intend to hijack this thread.

Happy Aloha Friday from the First Coast! It is currently a very warm 94 degrees here. And, that’s sitting on my patio, in the shade with a very nice breeze blowing off the lake. I’m still sweating 🥵!

I hope everyone has a great weekend. (Just 4 more weeks until college football!)🏈

If you're staying in West Maui, I'd certainly recommend the drive to Nakalele Blowhole. If you're staying in South Maui, our favorite beach is Keawakapu. In the morning it's great for snorkeling or swimming. In the afternoon the waves can get big enough for boogie boarding. If you're there in the winter, a whale watching tour should be a priority. Unless you want to spend all day in a car, I wouldn't recommend Hana or the top of Haleakala. I don't think anybody that follows this thread would mind the hijack. After all, it's still Aloha Friday!

We stayed for 2 nights at the Hyatt Hana Maui. It was a highlight of our trip. It is so peaceful, a hidden gem. We were upgraded to a beach bungalow, right on the ocean. No TV's, an infinity pool. We will definitely go back. It's a hidden gem

+1.

Hana is like the end of the rainbow. We have visited twice, staying at the Hyatt Hana Maui each time (using points -- many, many points). The best part is when you wake up in the morning, drive south to the Seven Sacred Pools, and you are the only ones there. The pic was taken on the hotel grounds.

Happy Aloha Friday!!! We made it through the Tsunami threat. Now we're just putting up with the strong winds. Keeps us cool golfing though.

This week's picture takes us back to Oahu and Waikiki at the Aloha Lani. I took this one four years ago. Beautiful sky that night. 🤙🏻

Enjoy and have an Awesome Aloha Friday and a Great Weekend!!!🤙🏻🌴🌺😎

Happy Aloha from the Worldmark in Vancouver, BC. We are here until Monday when we travel to Canmore. Yesterday we went up Grouse Mountain. The Grizzly Brothers are now 25 and moving a bit slower (as our we). We did the Zipline. It was still pretty hot at 4,000+ feet in Elevation. With the Heat, Elevation, wearing the Gear, and carrying the 25+ Pound trolley we moved a bit slower walking up and down from each Launch point. The youngest in our Group was 14. At 71 we were the oldest. The next was 25+ years younger than us. Patti and I have decided this is our last Summertime visit to Canada. All the future will be in Spring or Fall.

Seventy one (71) geist1223, you are still young and adventurous.

Happy Aloha Friday from windward Oahu. DW and I took the SUPs to the bay last week. There are several areas not too far from THE sandbar where (depending on the tide) water is up to the thighs or hips; we paddled to a couple of them and enjoyed the views. Peaceful time with the only sounds being the waves softly rolling by the SUPs as well as the occasional boat and helicopter in the distance; made for an enjoyable day.

Haiku Station is at the top of the peak near the center of the 1st and 3rd pictures. It sits on top of the "Stairway to Heaven".

Happy Aloha Friday. Roxy is still here oddly enough. It looks like we are keeping her.

That is a gorgeous photo view from the Fairway Villa .
Are the Fairway Villa units as nice as this photo?

Happy Aloha Friday from the First Coast! We had a beautiful sunrise over the lake this morning and the sun is in overdrive here in northeast Florida. The high temps have been hovering in the 100 range for over a week now. It’s supposed to break this weekend and be down in the upper 80’s all next week. Woohoo!!!

The photo below was the view from my patio at around 6:15 this morning. If you look close in the water near the bottom of the picture, you can see the ducks that have coffee with me every morning. ;)

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

It's off the roof. The roof has a swimming pool, hot tub, kitchen area with bbq's, pool chairs and a 360 degree view. The rooms are larger than other VI units but are still on the small side, imo. People tell me the rooms are large for a big city like Honolulu even though I think they are smallish.

That is just a couple blocks south of where we used to live on the Ala Wai Canal. It was six years ago yesterday that we moved into that apartment. It was home for three years.🤙🏻

I think when we stayed at the Aloha Tower 1 we were in front of your building beach wise and at the Aloha Tower 2 across the street. I really like the area. It is amazing to me that you moved to such a quiet place compared to Waikiki. shaka

We were back on Ala Wai Blvd in Aloha lani. We were right in the canal but had a view of the ocean on the other end of building. 🤙🏻

I had hoped we didn't have to transfer to Oahu but that is where the company wanted me. We already had the Condo on Molokai for a couple years when we moved.

Are the Fairway Villas, in Oahu and in a quiet area over looking the canal and maybe a view of the ocean?

From the roof top pool & common areas, there are views of the Ala Wai Golf course which is in the above picture. The ocean view from the roof is through the buildings. Here are some roof top pics.
