 Holy Smokes! I just won an EOY 2BR Marriott Ko Olina on Ebay for $4750. Floating weeks 1 - 50. What does that say about the market? What are the chances this will pass ROFR? Probably none.

Bart

Hey Bart,

Ebay sales seem to be pretty low right now. The only EOY listed on the ROFR database passed at $8250...that puts yours pretty low but you never know.

Congrats and keep us posted on the ROFR status.

Great purchase- congrats!!!

Great price! Congrats!
Is that ocean view or mountain view?
Have you purchased other timeshares from that seller?

The ad doesn't specify view, but at that price it is a heck of a deal.
I wish now I had bid a bit higher.

Terry

Yes, Congratulations. I was wondering if someone on TUG got it. I was looking at it to add to my Waiohai week but I was concerned about the seller. See this thread,

Just couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger. I didn't think they would get it closed in time for me to take advantage of the 13 month reservation window for 2010. Please update that thread or this one when it closes.

Enjoy.

I'll make sure I post back when the deal closes. I have already gotten the papers via email and have returned them.

Bart

WOW! That is terrific.

Just to give you an update. I learned today that my $4750 ebay purchase win for this Marriott Ko Olina EOY (Even Use Year) passed ROFR. They actually let it pass.

Bart

Congrats- that's a great deal!!

congrats. what's the view?

Congrats! What a great purchase price, enjoy.

What a deal!!! Let us know when it closes. I almost bid on a week I have always wanted and barely see on ebay. It was a killer price too but I hesitated because of the other TUg thread.

Good price. If I could bring myself to buy right now, that is the place I would consider at that price.

What self-control :) . If you can afford to buy and living on the West coast prices like these almost make it a no-brainer. Fabulous resort and as the area develops a bit it will only become better. The only thing stopping me is the 12 hour plane ride (and a DH who would think I was crazy because of the 12 hour plane ride  ).

We go from newark to hawaii every year, yes long plane ride BUT secret is to upgrade to First and keep that champagne flowing!
