Sudden reduced inventory in Interval in Orlando seen by unbranded timeshares

There was some discussion about this in the DVC sightings board so I decided to start a thread in here. A few Tuggers have said that their unbranded timeshares are suddenly not seeing a lot of Orlando inventory that they were previously seeing, including DVC, Marriott, Sheraton Vistana properties.

If you suddenly cannot see Orlando inventory (or other places) in II that you could previously see, what could be the cause?

I'm personally not experiencing this with either of my two timeshares right now.

A dedicated thread is a great idea. I’m not just seeing a reduced number of properties in Orlando but across the country. I tried searching overbuilt areas like Las Vegas and Hilton Head over the next two years. I only got three properties for Las Vegas and six for Orlando. I can’t see Marriotts or Sheratons anywhere in the country even in off season. My Marriott is unchanged but my unbranded independent is affected. This reminds me of the glitch that happened a few years back where unrated timeshares suddenly had a dramatic drop in properties they could see. Interval denied there was a problem for a couple of months before they finally admitted there was a problem and fixed it. I remember some of the timeshares affected were Christmas Mountain in the Dells and the Von Trapp Lodge. Is anyone else currently affected?

@liacee, thank you very much for starting this thread!

My unbranded independent is experiencing exactly the same thing @CrazyPanda described above. Historically, I've been able to see Marriotts across the country (including Orlando), DVC, and Sheratons, but now I'm not able to see any of them. I'm not sure on the exact date when I stopped being able to see them, but it was at some point during last week.

My unbranded property sees lots of Marriotts and Sheratons in Orlando and other areas, even regular but scattered views of studios and 1 bedrooms in Hawaii (albeit usually just a few months out and not in super high demand times). I haven't noticed a change in trade value. We do routinely book a 150 TDI week, so I don't know if that makes a difference? Maybe it's a glitch for others?

My FoxRun deposit seems fine in Orlando - seeing Marriotts and Sheratons like I'd expect there. I haven't checked everywhere else. I can't really check with my Gaitlinburg till I can book the week to trade for next year.

Even stranger, Fox Run and Fairways (my week) are essentially the same place.

I just searched my unbranded (but Premier-rated) timeshare for Orlando between now and the end of the year, using my deposited 2026 week. I saw all of the Marriotts, all the Vistanas, and all of the HVCs (former Diamond), all two and three bedrooms, and well into the fall, including holiday weeks. There were August weeks at Lakeshore Reserve (I've usually not searched far enough out to see Lakeshore before....it's tempting, even in August, LOL!) No DVC, but I wouldn't have expected that, as they drop into open inventory early in the am. But I usually can see those sightings, too.

(Should this thread be moved into the sightings thread?)

Last time there was a glitch it mostly affected independent and unrated resorts.

Could it be that the new 2026–2027 TDI charts have been released, and lower rated timeshares can no longer achieve the higher rated timeshare matches?

In my case, I’m only seeing 6 properties in Orlando and 3 in Las Vegas. It’s not even about being matched to higher rated properties.

I had similar results - 5 pages of results, all of the usual suspects, plus a smattering of DVC.

There's still a glitch/anomaly for seeing Hyatt inventory in Key West and Bonita Springs that was identified in the sightings forum some months ago, My high season MVC weeks can't see them, MVC club points can see some of them, but should see all.
Can any of you with independents see Hyatt inventory in Key West or Bonita Springs (Florida, Naples and Marco Island)? Don't post exactly what you can see here, so we don't bust the rules relating to sightings, below are the threads to the sightings forum.

Using my independent resort, I see the KW/BS Hyatts with my 2028 week but not my 2027 week. Mine is a fixed week, so same week for both years. Neither have been deposited yet.

I have seen the Hyatts on KW pop up over the past couple of weeks but I don't see them now. I don't see the others. This is with a 2026 week. I have not deposited 2027 yet and therefore cannot search with it. I don't understand how some can search without depositing first. Maybe that is unique to different resorts.

Thx for the heads up. I edited my post, above to hopefully comply with the rules. I forgot we weren't in the sightings forum.

This is my issue. I own fairway and fox run. I always get better traders with fair way. In fact. Just last week I got a 2 bedroom at okw. Then the glitch happened and now I can’t see any Marriott or Sheratons. But I can with FOXRUN. I called and after 2 hours on the phone they said they were going to put a ticket in to tech support but I have zero faith that is happening.

Sorry to hear that you're in the same situation as me, but it sounds like you got further than I did with them on the phone. They just kept telling me that all the inventory must have been booked up since I checked a few days ago, which was clearly incorrect.

Do you happen to have an ongoing search active?
