Sudden reduced inventory in Interval in Orlando seen by unbranded timeshares

does disney sit unused in Interval? It seemed to go so fast in RCI
There is not any currently being deposited in RCI. It has been back with II for a couple of years or more now.

I tried to search Marriott Orlando resorts with exact resort's name and they do show up in individual search, just not showing at all if searching just use city "Orlando', or some other cities we follow on.

Looks like Marriott/II IT department screwed things up again. Have you noticed when searching on II that you see limited amount of time shares available when you do a mass search. Example: I looked at two years out for Florida and came up with 3 pages when I used to get 10 to 12 pages, nothing for Grand Vista. However, when I looked at Grand Vista by itself it showed 30 plus available this year.

Anyone else have this issue? Anyone have feed back from II on it?

Thanks
Jim Mc

Does exchanging a week from a "limited exchange activity" resort increase trade power?
Most of the resorts listed in II for Whistler BC (w/exception of a couple) are listed as limited exchange. I'm Buying into a peak summer 140 tdi with the goal to exchange (and/or use as its only 2 hours away from home).
Thanks
There's no way for us to know for sure, but in general supply and demand are factors. Therefore it would be a reasonable assumption that if you are giving up a desirable week in an area that not as commonly available, at a resort that is very rarely deposited into II but that a lot of people would like to go to, it will most likely have very good trading power.

There's a thread under the Exchanging Timeshares forum that has been discussing this:

I'm having the same issue. I have a high trader Hawaii week (that gets 56 RCI points) and used to see like 5-6 pages of Orlando. Now I only see 2 pages of real bottom end resorts.

This is a newer problem I think, which is searching by area (regardless of timeshare ownership, Marriott searches are having this problem) you are not seeing the inventory that is there in Orlando vs. if you look up the individual resort by code. I also don't think my certificates are seeing all inventory, I'm seeing differences between the website and the app there. A bunch of mess.

It's a glitch that's been reported to II. You need to search by resort code or names for now.

Who is Mark at II and how does one get in touch with him?

I've been searching using an MVC Grand Chateau and a Lakeshore Reserve and I have lost 3 pages of Orlando inventory. I don't see any of the Orlando Marriott's that I've always seen. It seems as if the problem hasn't been fixed for everyone. Is anyone else still having this issue.
Update - I called and the person at Interval can see all of the Orlando properties using my unit. She said it's a glitch but couldn't do anything about it. Ridiculous! It's been going on for a week and only affecting some people.
I usually see 5 pages of Orlando resorts and I'm only getting 2 pages of results.
I don't know what's missing. I'm using a Marriott to search.
It forces me to choose occupancy of 2 because it's a studio but does give me results for some 2 bedrooms so it makes no sense.
They definitely broke the search. I don't see any DVC units but I don't think there has been much lately.
I did see a few a few weeks ago when I saw 5 pages of results.

I had a foxrun week for years that I picked up for free here on TUG, and before Marriott bought Interval it would get me Marriotts all the time, with ACs to boot.

dvc dropped over 4 mornings last week per the dvc II fb group so maybe it’s done for this month

Seriously I have noticed the same thing - and searching with a 2BDR MSU booked for Feb 27-Mar5 2027 which should get me pretty much anything they have..

Possibly. I'm in that group so I did see all the flurry of activity.
I own DVC so I have 2 trips already booked with my points so am not really looking for anything DVC right now.
I'm more interested in other Marriotts right now.
But next year I'll definitely be looking for a DVC unit especially since someone posted that they got a Riviera unit thru II for this summer

Speaking of AC's, my AC that they gave me for deposit sees more Orlando units than my Marriott deposits, go figure.
Definitely broken. :crash:

I am coming late to this thread. I have been searching for weeks for Orlando Marriotts with deposited HGV units, both Whistler and Tremblant, and am only seeing less than 10 resorts overall and only one Marriott, when I used to see 30+ resorts and pretty much all Marriotts. Glad I saw this, will try to.put in individual resort codes instead.
