Premium travel Credit Cards

I was able to check on the portal. Not much more information than what was stated here. When I tried to book on Chase Travel it seemed to indicate that the $250 credit would apply to more IHG brands than just the IC hotels.
Here is the list of IHG brands from the IHG website:

For those with AMEX who buy a travel bank $50 per Q, I just logged on to united this morning, and all of my travel bank credits are showing a 1 yr expiration, not a 5 year that the policy states. I did make a $50 purchase today and took a screen shot of the 5 year statement.

I few blogs, like Travel On Points, and Doctor of Credit, are reporting it as a Glitch. So I am hoping for some insight soon.

Here is my purchase this morning that states 5 years, in the T&C at the bottom.

If I look at my United Wallet, the TravelBank section says expiration 01/01/2031 (I purchased my last TravelBank credits on 01/01/2026). But if I then click on View TravelBank details I see 01/01/2027. Curiouser and curiouser...

Looks the same for me, though I have already used most of the Travel Bank i purchased earlier this month.

I was able to book a refundable staybridge hotel in Anaheim for a gaming convention my DS and DH will attend. Prices are high during this weekend so this was a worthwhile benefit.

Thanks for notifying me of this benefits. Keeping p2 card for another year to see if worthwhile and if they add other perks to make more valuable.

tried to use the chase $150 dining credit at Lineage at maui in January but dining credit not showing up after 2 weeks. called chase reserve and they have to open a ticket to investigate. No issue getting the credit in Honolulu in december for 2025 dining credit.

any f/u?

*My RCI exchange fee (299) only gave me 1x on CSR, rather than 4x, despite coding as travel/timeshare (& RCI, Wyndham hotels & resorts)... :-(

after 4 calls with escalation, finally got the dining credit 5 weeks later. one of the agent said the bill was coded tot, ? take out, even though i booked the table via open table, paid with credit card after dining at the restaurant. Told them I have pictures showing us at the restaurant with the foods on the table plus the bill included tips
I will in future spend the dining credit in honolulu where there are more restaurants

When I read this I wasn’t entirely sure what “f/u” meant. I feel like the customer service folks are telling me “f/u” when they say I should wait 8 weeks for a credit to appear in my account….

For those of you with CSR, there's a new promotion through DoorDash for their acquisition of Sevenrooms last year. They added the ability to reserve restaurants through the DoorDash app using the Sevenrooms platform and the promotion is for a DoorDash credit of up to $12 for a completed reservation made that way. It's not on the order of the quarterly $100 Resy credit through AMEX Platinum or the biannual $150 CSR dining credit but there doesn't seem to be a limit on the number of times you can use it. The email I got touting it, copied below, says it's for a limited time but doesn't give an expiration date. On the plus side, this credit is contingent only on how you make the reservation rather than how you pay for your meal; one of the restaurants we like in DC uses Sevenrooms for reservations and takes inKind for payment; through inKind we get 20% back in credits for future dining and I linked my inKind account to my Bonvoy Brilliant Amex where it triggers the $25 monthly dining credit. Gotta love credits you can stack! (If anyone wants a referral link for inKind, let me know - they would give a $25 credit to each of us for even more stacking!)

I just noticed that there’s a website you can use for the reservations in addition to the app. The credits you get on the website are generally $10 when they are $12 on the app. It’s just a $2 difference, but seems most efficient to search on the website and book on the app.

Maybe I am being dense, but I don't see a reservation icon in my DoorDash app

On my iPhone, it’s the fourth one from the left under the search blank area.

I think I've figured this out. I finally tried logging in to DoorDash on my laptop. I can see the reservations tab there, but not on my phone. There are no restaurants that use Seven Tables here in the South Bay, only up the peninsula or in SF. I am guessing the phone filtered that option out. It makes sense to filter out delivery locations, but I'm not sure it makes sense for a reservation. In any event, we don't order that much food delivery, so this may be of limited value to us.
