Has anyone linked their Hawaiian miles and Alaska miles accounts?

Has anyone linked their Hawaiian miles and Alaska miles accounts? I find info online saying you can link them, but not how to do it. Or transferred miles between accounts?

I purposely signed up for an Alaskan credit card and got a nice miles bonus when I heard there was a going to be a merger and when the merger happened I eventually was able to transfer the miles, that I ultimately used for a Hawaiian Airlines trip next April. Worked out great.

I went into my AL account and cannot find how I did it. I have a feeling because I don't have any miles to transfer maybe the option isn't there. I can see my transfer in the activity folder but not how to do it. It shows the transfer was managed points.com

You can move all the miles from one to the other. It may give you enough miles for a free ticket.

Oops! Her birth date wasn't correct on her Hawaiian Air profile. Once I corrected it, the miles transferred successfully.

Yes, I get that response as well. I don't know what it means.

I linked mine and wife’s. I had her open a Hawaiian card and I met the minimum spend by buying HA miles during the 2 for 1 special which netted 160,000 Hawaiian Miles in my account and 70,000 in her account. I then transferred all those miles to Alaska.

I‘m Alaska MVP Gold and she’s MVP. I did the status match and I’m now Poonani Platinum and she is Gold.

Last I read the Alaska and Hawaiian systems will not be linked together until 2026. With Hawaiian you can still transfer miles for free to others with Hawaiian accounts as long as you have the Hawaiian Mastercard.

You don’t need the online form. There is a link on the Alaska site. Really easy.

Once it begins, HawaiianMiles will no longer be a usable program. You won’t be able to earn or redeem miles under it, and the branding itself will disappear….

Wonder when this will take place. I have a companion fair waiting and a Trip in July. would love to use this if possible but "mid summer" does not sound promising for my timeline

I am finally getting around to trying to transfer Hawaiian Miles to the Alaska Mileage Plan, and I keep getting error messages on the Alaska site for anything related to buying, transferring, buying, boosting, and giving miles. Is anyone else having this problem? I hope it is temporary.

4. Go to https://storefront.points.com/mileage-plan/en-US/exchange/lps and transfer miles from a mileage plan account to their HA account (after logging into their Alaska and Hawaiian accounts.)
5. Repeat steps 1-4 for each person.
6. Wait a day or so for all miles to transfer to HA.
7. Clear out of all accounts and then go to https://www.hawaiianairlines.com/my-account/hawaiianmiles/sharemiles/enterrecipient to share miles from each person's HA to yours. (Hawaiian Airlines primary credit and debit cardholders may receive 10 free transactions in a calendar year.)

Actually, I thought I would try this right now, and I received the following error:

"X
There was an error.
Unfortunately, you have an insufficient balance to perform this transaction.

There is a balance of over 30K points in the account I was using, so it seems like the error is wrong. Any advice?

I just linked both of our accounts, but haven’t tried transferring points yet. Interested to follow along to hear experiences that others have with the process.
