Tuggers Can And Should Consider Direct Timeshare Exchanges With Each Other

yea im not sure how id even design something that could accommodate a month long stay to trade with another month long stay etc. (on top of the odds of that happening)

suppose you could simply just post all the weeks you have available and see what someone would offer.

So, one of the things I'm still a little confused about here might just be the systems interaction. So if I was going to use this, having HGVC and Wyndham, I'd say ... what? My home resort? A set of points I can use inside the system with a GC? Do I pre-book a week and then (not sure if this is possible) edit it or cancel it if not exchanged?

Am I understanding the ADMINs correctly, that I should post all my weeks in the Direct Exchange area, even ones I know I'll be using?

no, that wouldnt benefit anyone if you are using the week...you couldnt trade someone if you are already using it.

I suggested anyone offering weeks for RENT should also list them as exchanges on top of weeks they own/have but may not use that year...or at the very least would consider trading to go somewhere else if the offer presented itself!

Apologies in advance but I am hoping to get a better understanding of how placing an add would work - I have a points membership would like to direct trade my points into a specific resort within a different points system. It’s for a wedding so the week is important.

if you are looking for a specific week at a specific location, you would want to choose that vs looking to trade for points.

would be difficult to trade "points" unfortunately....but if you reserved a week within your system you could absolutely offer that.

or if you see an exchange you want and the TUGGER has posted they are looking for something you can get with your points there would be no harm in reaching out to start up a conversation with them about it!
