Wow, jealous! (Abound pts). I got 0, lol.I ended with 3x 1,000 Bonvoy Points, two of which have hit my account so far, and 3x 500 Plus Points, one of which has hit my account so far.
Supposedly they were to notify the big winners today. So presumably, if you didn't get an email today, you weren't a big winner. I'm afraid I didn't get anything. So now that the Sweepstakes daily / weekly games are over, WHEN IS THE BIG GRAND PRIZE DRAWING? i don't expect Abound to announce who the winner is - although I hope it is a Tugger!
I do beleive they have to make the names of winners available somewhere somehow? So now that the Sweepstakes daily / weekly games are over, WHEN IS THE BIG GRAND PRIZE DRAWING? i don't expect Abound to announce who the winner is - although I hope it is a Tugger!

And you think you’d do better on the Owner’s website?I haven't heard that I'm the Grand Prize Winner. Still waiting...![]()
I did learn something after watching one of the videos for points, and that is you can get 30% discount on Avis rentals using a code. I didn't know that, and after looking all over on the MVC website (all I could find was there is a discount...no mention of how to get it), I initiated a chat with MVC asking for the code. I must've gotten the dumbest agent on the line EVER. First she copied/pasted directions on how to book a Marriott hotel. I reiterated that I just wanted the discount code for booking with AVIS. Then she sent me directions on how to book AVIS using a certificate. I repeated I just wanted to the code to get the 30% discount and asked if I needed a 'certificate', how do I get one? and she sent me a points chart for buying certificates. I said NO, I didn't want to use points, I just wanted the discount code. She replied "Well, you asked how to get the certificate".
Finally, after being on hold for a few minutes she came back with the discount code: AWD# J751105
Geez, like pulling teeth! Why don't they just put that on the owner's website somewhere??
I will resist the urge to ever again play sucker’s games. Jeez, I do better on Scratchers.

I beleive the 4 night stay is one of the weekly prizes...I saw on one of the facebook groups someone said they won a 4 night stay somewhere valued at $1000, so they have at least notified some people.
I'm sure they are required to compile a list of all the winners and make that available publicly.
Time is money. Lots of it wasted on this. Oh well. Lesson learned. But scratchers cost money- this was free! Not really a sucker bet when you didn't lose any money.

Thanks for posting that. I’ll be interested to hear if anyone finds value in the Avis code. My experience with most of those codes is that they provide a discount from some very high rate that nobody in their right kind would ever pay, and that the resulting discounted rate is still higher than what you can find elsewhere. But I’d love to be proven wrong.I haven't heard that I'm the Grand Prize Winner. Still waiting...![]()

I have a couple future car rental reservations so I’ll try the Avis code and see if it can save me anything over the rates I’ve already got.
That's massive!I ended with 3x 1,000 Bonvoy Points, two of which have hit my account so far, and 3x 500 Plus Points, one of which has hit my account so far.
About a month and a half.That's massive!
How long was it between you won the prize, and seeing it in your account?

I tried the Avis code and it appeared to give 5% off, which is significantly less than other discounts that are available. (With Avis, one of the best discounts is an AARP membership.)That’s also my experience with most of these “discount” codes.
I agree, good for my mental activityKeeps the brain active! I hope they do it again. I didn’t win anything, but I enjoyed the ritual. And trying match Dean’s perfect game.
How much is the AARP discount?I tried the Avis code and it appeared to give 5% off, which is significantly less than other discounts that are available. (With Avis, one of the best discounts is an AARP membership.)
