I just got a notification that I've gotten a trophy for my 15-year TUG membership anniversary. :)

This is the perfect opportunity to say a gigantic thank-you to everyone on TUG for your valuable contributions that have helped me to learn as much as possible about my timeshares and a little bit about every other timeshare system, for your patience and kindness when I've been obviously unable to corral my immediate need to blast out at the world, for all the Lounge posts that have taught me things I never even knew I wanted to learn, and for the feeling of home that this site gives me.

The secret handshake and pizza recipe ain't bad, either.

THANK YOU, TUG!!

Me too, it was 15 years ago we moved to this portal I presume. Been on Tug longer than that.

This is the perfect opportunity to say a gigantic thank-you to you and all of the other moderators who keep this place sane -- and a beacon of light in the shadowy TS world.

(Fifteen years does go by quickly, doens't it?)

They must've been running a sale on awards. I also just got one for being 'too likeable'. Something about 10,000 'likes'. I'll have to see what I can do about remedying this clear oversight. I'm NOT REALLY that likeable.

Thanks TUG! You're pretty special, too.

Jim

yea, i added a few new trophies today as we had a number of folks who reached the top milestones of a number of categories!

someone remind me in 2025 so i can add a 20 year!

(sadly it can only go back to 2005 or so, which is when the forum switched over to a commercial software vbulletin...which we migrated to xenforo a few years ago but at least kept the original 2005 and after registrations)

You are the Sally Field of TUG - we all REALLY DO like you!

I received the trophy too but have been here longer than 15 years. In all these years I have not been given the secret hand shake or pizza recipe. I must have been black balled.

Still learning. I see posts all of the time and realize I still know nothing about timeshare! Congrats. I don't remember gettting a 15-year anything from TUG.

You must've learned (or taught) something. You're only 210 posts behind me. I'm looking back over my shoulder. :)

Me too. I received my trophy today. I too think I joined prior to 2005. Thank you Tuggers! It's been a wonderful ride. Looking forward to many more. Also, a Special Thanks to all the moderators who work behind the scenes - you do a fabulous job!

Me too. I think I actually joined TUG around August 2001. When I first found TUG it was a godsend, I got a real education in something we had foolishly bought. The first six months on TUG combined with the education received on the old Fairfield yahoo group gave me a crash course in timesharing, I probably learned more in that first six months than in the intervening years.

TUG time for me now is mainly spent in the lounge.

I feel like such a newbie... only joined in 2012..

Me three, but I always feel like such a poser because I didn't post anything for years. And like Cindy, I still feel like I am learning new things all the time.

And hear, hear for the shout out to the moderators. You make it look easy, but we know that it isn't.

15 yr awarded to me today also though it seems much longer. I've enjoyed all of it and glad we can all have fond memories and hopefully as others have helped me I've also helped them and others. In a lot of ways it is an extension of family and family vacations is the reason we keep timesharing.
Thank you everyone for all the insights and help you have provided me and my family with. We have and continue to have great timeshare experiences. Recently I've been able to see and meet many relatives in my travels that I didn't even know existed. Probably wouldn't and couldn't have done it without timeshares.

Me too!
Thanks everyone for sharing your knowledge & wisdom. I feel very lucky to have found TUG 15+ years ago.
TUG has helped me share 15+ years of wonderful vacation memories with extended family and friends. :)
