Yep I got my 15 year award as well. I think I may have joined in 2004 when I bought my first Banff Rocky Mountain Resort timeshare. Resale of course!

Same here. 15 year award. I think it was 2001 or 2002 when I joined though.

Oh boy, I got one too! How time flies when you are having fun! :D

Sometimes DH pokes fun at me for making him wait at our unit's door of a new timeshare so I can take photos for a review or for spending so much time on TUG, but then when researching someplace new to go he says better check what your TUG buddies think of the place before we book!

I also got the 15-year award today.

Which balances an award of sorts that I lost today.
Two days ago Tesla sent me the VIN number for one of the new models that I've had on order for almost a year. Happy day and at Tesla's request I called my car insurance company and had them issue proof of insurance for the VIN.
Today that VIN number vanished from my Tesla orders page. As they say at https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/forums/-/list, I'm no longer a VINner.

Well, I got one too.......but it's actually been 23 years because I joined in 1998....wow, time flies.
It's been tons of fun, and "travel stuff" long ago turned into a daily hobby, even though I still work full-time.
Can't believe all the things we've learned, places we've been, and new friends we've known & met in person
(at least 20-25 couples, some of whom we consider dear friends, and see often)!

That happens here too. DW, relatives and friends sometimes gives me flack about tug but they do enjoy the trips & tips I share with them that I learned here at tug. Some have joined including my dw but I doubt they ever hang out.

You're "older" than me then. I discovered TUG in 1999.

I remember the original software, specially written by "Lawrence", a Silicon Valley TUGger, where replies continually nested inside each other. And the lost boiled pizza and Mugwump Towers threads.

I don’t post often as can be seen by my message total but I did just receive my 15 yr notice today. Like many others, it’s been longer than 15 here also.

I got my 15 year award yesterday, too. But, I was on TUG way back in 1995. I think when TUG made some changes we had to re-register or something so, I'm not showing up going back that far. I can't remember exactly what happened - too much time has passed! But I've been hanging around for a long time, i.e., when there was also a Fern's Cafe. Sigh....I miss Fern...she was a wealth of information and a lot of fun here on TUG.

I wasn't around back then, but June 2005 is when they migrated to the vBulletin BBS system. TUG has since migrated to Xenforo, but the original registration dates were preserved in that migration.

After 40+ years of T/S ownership, I am no longer "an owner"
I just got mine today! WOW . . . you're right . . . where does the time go?

I think about all of my timeshare travels, dating back to my first timeshare ownership in the early 1980's. My has the industry changed in 40 years!

I just got the same notification - Not sure how my 2005 start date equates with 15 year anniversary but ...... I honestly can't remember when I really found this site but I know it was before 2005. I have learned so much from TUG and enjoyed the site so much early on when there wasnt websites like trip advisor around to check quality of timeshares.

Thank You to everyone on this site. I don't use it nearly as much as I used to but I still poke my head in and try to participate when I can.

With my recent purchases I will be up to 14 timeshares and TUG is 100% to Blame:)

I forgot to mention TUG help me to purchase all of my timeshares resale except one. I bought DVC from the developer and managed to break a small profit on it with rentals of the bonus points and the like before I dumped it a few years later.

Must be....I'm 101.... you?
Seriously, I remember the ad infinitum posts by Fletch, Gregs (Greg Stralka), DaveM, Fern, and all the rest.....Awesome, awesome people!
Those massive indentions and underwritten posts were occasionally difficult to follow....
I HATED the new format when it was rolled out, but as I knew would happen, I soon learned to love it.
I'm still resistant to change, but perhaps less so-----I always come around, usually pretty quickly, and I do welcome and praise PROGRESS.
That said, I'm close to being perfect now. ;)

(P.S.....I have appreciated your posts and many contributions for a long, long time......If I see your name I go right to it.

@TUGBrian: How does one score those "No Way!" points?

There are a few other odd ones on your list above, too. Is there a description somewhere? Very curious!

yea but the description is within the admin console.

No Way is listed as "Somehow you received 5,000 likes. Are you sure you didn't register a bunch of robot users to like everything you post?"

@TUGBrian So then for me, (always planning ahead, ya see), with my scores where they are just now: I see just upcoming points for 25K, 50K, and 75K posts, right? Nothing awarded above 10K Likes? Or did I overlook one? What is "Way Too Likable" about?

Still learning. I see posts all of the time and realize I still know nothing about timeshare! Congrats. I don't remember gettting a 15-year anything from TUG.
I was feeling left out. I didn’t get an email. Just now I noticed my recognition in the TUG alerts.
