I got Progressives from Zenni, and I only had one PD. They were perfect. I had a pair from EyeMasters (at many times the price) that I didn't like near as well. It does take some getting used to Progressives, but not near as much as I expected it would. My only thing is if I am using the computer for quite a while I either sit back a ways or else I take the glasses OFF. But I can read and drive with them well.

I have all my glasses anti-reflective coated, and find that they pick up fingerprints, etc. Zenni gives you a cleaning cloth with each pair, but I have found wetting the glasses and then cleaning/drying with a microfiber cloth works best.

With progressive addition lens do you have two PD numbers?

Ideally, yes. If you can get a "monocular pd measurement" that would be best. For example: A common binocular pd measurement would be 64 mm. If the person is symmetrical the monocular pd would be OD 32 , OS 32. (32+32=64). However, not everyone is symmetrical. The same 64 mm binocular pd could be for a person with a monocular pd of: OD 30, OS 34. These Progressive Lenses have a narrow channel as you look through the intermediate area, and if the channel is either inset too far, or set out too far, the lens just won't perform as well.

My advice: When you have your eyes examined, ask them to write your MONOCULAR PD measurement on your Rx. Another idea is to phone or stop in the last place you had glasses made and just ask for it. It is likely on file if less than 7 years ago. IF they are on a computerized system (like at Walmart) your monocular pd is in their system.

You could always stop in at a Walmart Vision Center (where I practice), be polite, smile, and ask them if they could (please) measure your monocular pd with a pupillometer. They would probably have no problem with it if it not at a very busy time.

*Side note. It always amazes me that some people actually think they will get better service if they are mean and nasty. They may get what they want in the end....but they won't get good service. I see it almost every day.

Just make sure you are using the proper cleaning solution with your anti-reflective coating. Avoid things like Windex. The ammonia will damage your AR coating. Optical places will have cleaners specifically for AR coatings.

Re: anti-reflective coatings.

The Crizal AR coating you see advertised is well worth it. Much more durable and scratch resistance than standard AR coatings. Sadly, not offered at Walmart.
