Am I the only one that finds this a little disheartening? Actually, my next thought is that I really need to add some items to my bucket list (maybe that's the plan).

My response is cynical. On one hand, I immediately think it as a bad plan, on Wyndham's part, to try to bait my emotions. On the other hand, I get angry that they have presumption to know my bucket list or, worse, to think they can satisfy it. My end thought: Wyndham, pigs.

When mine is empty, I find a new bucket and fill it.

Cheers

What gave you the impression that they think they know what your bucket list is? You have to choose resorts to add to the list. They don't add it for you.

The line that states: Your bucket list is empty.
How would they know??

In reality, they've created their own little Web UI. It is their bucket list thingy that is empty ... not mine. Mine is in my head and has plenty of destinations.

Again, my cynical response is that Wyndham's move (to create a Web widget that presents itself my bucket list and to tell me that it is empty) is presumptive. And, in my view, that is a an ugly and rude position.

You might be overthinking that a bit. It's just a widget to enable you to bookmark resorts you want to go to. Given how many resorts there are in the system, it is easy to forget one or two that you wanted to look into the next time you planned a vacation. I have added a few to my list for that reason. "Bucket list" is just marketing. They are not trying to tell you anything or assume anything about you. It's not about you individually.

Probably best to mentally note that the proper name should be “Parking Lot for Resorts I might Want To Book” instead of Bucket List. If you think about it, Bucket List implies that going there once is sufficient; I use that category on the site for places I want to be able to conveniently search, which includes places to go back to, places I’d like to go to, and places I can deposit in third party exchanges (e.g., Trading Places, SFX).

Don't mind me....I am just here for the comments and feedback. I would like to think of it as "neat" that they try to entice you to keep thinking about traveling and future destinations. Every Wyndham property I have ever stayed at always gave me the impression that customer satisfaction is a priority. When it comes to the timeshare market, I assumed that they treated their members/owners with loads of attention and consideration. The only Wyndham timeshare I've stayed in was Bonnet Creek in Orlando and I always felt VERY welcomed and appreciated. If I were part of the Wyndham system, I'd like to think I would be a very happy member.

I'm going to add every resort to the bucket list so that I finally have a spot to actually find resorts on their website instead of Google searches.

Did you try the search bar at the top of every page on the site? That’s not google search.
