Yet another Encore question

I was scheduled to receive 50,000 Bonvoy points for attending the sales pitch at our visit to the Pulse in NYC. In February we bought 1,000 Destination Club points when we were in Orlando and were told that we didn’t have to attend the presentation at the Pulse. We were initially scheduled to go to the Pulse in May but rescheduled for November. As I read the contract for the Encore, if we don’t have to attend and choose not to we wouldn’t receive the 50,000 points. Anyone have any thoughts about this?

That’s correct..refer to section 4 of your terms and conditions of your encore contract

Did they not give you the extra 50K at the time of purchase of your 1,000 DC points. That is really what should have happened.

When I had an encore in Jan, they did not give the 50,000 points until I went to the presentation. i.e., not at the time of purchase for me at least. But mine was not with points purchase.

im doing an Encore Package at Oceana Palms in November and my contract states..premium includes 50,000 Marriot Bonvoy Points OR 650 DC Points OR 300.00 Amex gift card AFTER attending the presentation
