Hello:
Pondering a near retirement future and wondered about something. I can buy a property inland, but was wondering if I also bought a cheap
TS week on the beach, am I allowed to enjoy the facilities daily all year long ? I suspect this would be allowed at some and not all ?
Perhaps it's even frowned upon ? Anybody ?
Thanks
Sammy

Depends on the resort. Some do have day use privileges, but you have to check with each resort.

I'm also interested in properties that allow day use, particularly those properties that allow day use rights to be transferred upon resale. In my estimation, the more retirees in an area, the less likely it is that nearby resorts will offer unrestricted day use.

Many (most?) Marriotts allow day use, with restrictions during highly busy times.

Yes, it will depend with each resort. I owned one in the Wisconsin Dells only 3 miles from my house that allowed day use. But I had to check in every time and they did reserve the right to deny access if it was really busy. I was never denied. So you will have to check with each resort you are interested in before purchasing.

I would recommend contacting the resort. Don’t take the sellers word. These things can change.
