Calling on day 3 before checkin might not change anything - if they update the list the night before checkin.

Well can't you just make a pest of yourself calling at 30 days, 25 days, 20 days, 15 days, 10 days, 5 days, 4 days, 3 days, 2 days and then 1 day and then by the hour. ;)

I'd feel NO shame in being a constant pest until they never attempt this again. I know this is more work for you but they deserve a little hassling like they're doing to you don't ya think?

Having call logs on your cell would prove that you called the resort and they'd have NO excuses anymore. :crash: Heck might as well email everyone and their mother at Wyndham. Make a huge electronic papertrail from the top down. Email the legal department too. Won't cost you anything and then there really would be no excuses. :annoyed:

Sandy, I thought you also had Fixed Weeks? It has been years since I had to confirm with the resort my Fixed Week ownership before showing up.

I converted my fixed weeks to points 8 - 9 years ago, heck it is actually over 10 years by now.

Newest excuse for this week:
My deed is being looked at by Owner Services as they say the reservation was in the prior owner's name.
Yee, I have a Warrented Deed from an "LLC" to me dated Feb 2010 for an every week interval.

Think I would have noticed this in the past 2 years?

PS. The maintenance fee invoice is in MY NAME ... billing knows who I am and Owner Service's would have had to TELL THEM THAT.

From what they indicated, it is starting to appear that they chose to take your maintance fee for the year and withdrew their reconizition of your ownership, but still reconize you as the bill payer. Unless the prior owner of the fixed week were the people that were in the rooms. This line of thought just does not make sense. I would give the Title Department a call and see who they list as owner. Also, I do not know what your ownership screen says, but before I converted my fixed week to points, I made them show the fixed week on your ownership screen on-line. No matter how this comes out for this year, I would make them do the same for all fixed weeks that are in your Wyndham account. Since they are apparently now saying they had a reservation for the room for the disputed weeks that was the prior owner, I would insist that they disclose the name of the person or persons that made the reservation(s).

They used a similar play on us but the address was correct only the name was the ptevious owner (deed was correct of course). Took over a decade to get them to fix it! Despite numerous "we'll take care of that" at every "update".
