I am starting to see more posts on the distressed forum that DVC is available using weeks. Anyone have any luck getting DVC with a Wyndham weeks deposit. If so, how many pints did it take.

Thanks

Points not pints.:p

Wyndham

I have two Wyndham Red weeks deposited into RCI. 1 two bedroom and 1 one bedroom. They are not pulling any DVC.

Since Wyndham owns RCI, I think these deposits are a joke!

Our trading power has crashed since they took away our right to deposit actual weeks into RCI. Wyndham deposits its dregs and it has negatively affected our trade power. We're searching with mediocre traders, no matter how many points we "spend" to get a deposit. Sometimes you get lucky. But no way is exchanging as great as it was just a couple of years ago. When I heard about DVC moving to RCI, I figured it would only be sheer luck if DVC could be pulled with Wyndham. Maybe last-minute trades will pop up.

Don't forget to check the TUG Sightings Board - there is a long thread there about RCI/DVC exchanges.

At the moment, I think Plus Partners is the only way to do it with FairShare Plus. You might get extremely lucky with a visible deposit, but I'd be surprised given that Wyndham usually deposits late, shoulder season, and at lesser resorts.

I tried search first a few times with a 2br red week and NOTHING. All the RCI people I spoke with was surprised and assumed once things get "ironed" out they would. I'm not holding my breath........I suffered big time when Disney moved from II to RCI, got 2 units that get AC's and they all got DVC no problem. Oh well.....buy where you want to stay right!

I called Wyndham and tried with Plus Partners, and got some hits, however when trying with my "weeks" deposit still no luck. I wonder if I can use my Sheraton Vistana with RCI to pull one?

DVC with Rci

It's alot of RCI points to get in. Anything I saw for a 1 bdr was 68,000-92,000 Rci points. Our 2 bdr in HH, summer is worth 44,000 points
