So recently signed a UDI contract with Wyndham Financing for $330 monthly without the credit card I didn't have to put any down payment or pay them at all, and paying the maintenance fee of $108, they are starting me out with 154,000 points with the 260,000 bonus and 215,000 reward points and a free 8day 7night thing they give out. I'm 20 years old and my dream is to travel the world, I've been reviewing the contract a lot and doing a lot of research and I'm seeing a lot of scam videos and want to know if this is a scam am I gonna get screwed, so far the scams mention I called the person that sold it to me asking about it and if the fees will increase he said that is only if I get an upgrade on the package, I asked him what are the biggest reasons ppl cancel or want to get out of the contract and the only answer he gave me is "for many reasons"...I have 9 days till I can cancel with any penalties, the only reason I signed was bc I was thinking about the future and money I could save what should I do?

Rescind! Timeshare ownership can be great but you are paying much more than you need to be. Rescind and then come back and answer the questions in the “What should I buy?” Thread and we will help.

Definitely RESCIND and don't think twice about it. You only have a few days in which you can get out of this contract so get out of it right now.

Go to the Post Office and send your rescission via USPS CERTIFIED MAIL. Retain copies of your paperwork as well as the copy of your Postmarked receipt.

You have plenty of time to plan for your future and buying a developer timeshare is not a good option. Think resale! Go to www.eBay.com and see all the poor folks trying to unload their timeshares. Many sell for just $1 or outright given away (free) on TUG.

CANCEL NOW. Visit this BBS daily and read, read, read. You've told us your monthly payments ... the maintenance fee can and will go up most every year. Your payments on whatever it is that you finance with Wyndham Financing is fixed. Don't confuse your points and onetime bonus points with Wyndham Reward Points, they are entirely different 'currencies.' CANCEL NOW.

If, after due consideration, this 'deal' will always be there in some form or another.

Definitely rescind. There are giveaways under FREE timeshares here on TUG.
