Has it started snowing yet in the mountains ? Any ski reports ?

Elk opens Dec 9th. Weather is currently 40 degrees at NOON - furthest
north ski area.

Camelback has a base of up to 24". Not open today.

Shawnee has a base of up to 12". Projected opening is Dec 5th.

Did NOT check Jack Frost or Big Boulder or Blue Mountain ski areas.

Just remember ... might need to go shopping for new skis and new ski clothing. The Outlet Shopping Mall is open.

All the Shawnee units have either wood burning F/P or GAS fireplaces in the all the living rooms in all the units.

Best Welcome Party on Monday evening in the Recreation Center ... karoke singing with FREE WINE (or fruit punch) and CHEESE for several hours.

Indoor BIG POOL and hot tub! Plus nice workout room. Plus single sex changing rooms (bring your own lock). Opens at 7 or 7:30 AM for LAP SWIMMING ONLY! Closes around 8 or 9PM daily. Zero enter/beach type. Still might be having in good weather - campfire & marshmellow roasting.

No charges for above events ... charges for craft classes and mini-golf (outdoors).
