Besides RCI, are there any other exchanges that we can use our Wyndham points on?

I've look at RCI and have seen places that look interesting, but neither Wyndham or RCI have anything in the Florida Keys.

Just thought I would ask.

Thanks in advance.

Most of the Florida Key exchanges are via II. There is only a 1 or 2 that are in RCI. They don't get many deposits except during hurricane season.

Look for The Galleon, right in key west, put in a search. That is your best best. If you want to confirm something, I suggest you rent. No external exchange like SFX even gets many keys units, mainly because there are not many and they are often used or rented by their owners.

Hyatt actually has the most units in the Key west. Try to find a trade with a Hyatt owner, if you have a Wyndham location that you want.

The Fla Keys are hard to find in any exchange company. Check into DAE, we traded into Matecumbe Resort 3 summers ago. You would need to check with DAE but they usually say to reserve a week with your points and then you can deposit that week with them.

Anything you deposit with them must be further than 8 weeks from check in.

They don't have any exchanges currently in the Keys. Your best bet would be to put in a request for a unit there.

You can search their inventory without being a member.

It is so hard to get exchanges there, we decided if we wanted to stay there, we would stay at one of the gorgeous B&B's for a few days. we did get an exchange for a week at the Coconut Mallory reort, which was fine, but did not give us the real flavor of Key West, which a B&B downtown would.

Not if they require Wyndham to validate that you have rights to the time you are depositing; Wyndham will not do this. Some independents require such validation (I think Platinum might be one) and others will take you at your word (I think SFX will).

If you own Wyndham in Hawaii, you can use Trading Places, but I doubt they would have the Keys for an exchange. I have seen one place in the keys a couple of times with RCI, just not when we could use it.
