Newport is one of the "saltiest" towns in the USA and Wyndham Onshore is located right in the middle of it, on Thames Street at Newport Harbor. Newport might be a mite chilly in February but if you are interested in visiting historical sites (dating back to the Vikings) or touring the many mansions, this is a good time to do it. In addition, Newport is a good base for daytripping to Cape Cod, Boston, or Mystic Seaport in Connecticut.

Enjoy the cold water seafood and the chowder that is on the stove in the back of many places.

The dates are not a mistake -- it is an eight night reservation.
