Got that in my email yesterday. P!an on doing the swap so went to fill out the form.
I thought I entered all the questions but when done it says not complete missing question 6.
I put it on auto read and went to the questions. It said question 5 and the next said question 7. No 6. Can't see what I am missing.
I called to phone number listed for help or questions. It answers and goes to disconnect.
Not sure of what to do next!

Strange, I just reported the phone number issues to Wyndham given you are not the first person to report this problem, along with the missing question 6 issue.

Thanks for posting the BB pics @HitchHiker71 and @Sandi Bo ! Because of your pics I just shuffled some reservations to maximize our time there in late November and December. Jiminy's "Team Snowmageddon" usually does a great job getting some base going on a few runs to ski on for Black Friday, fingers crossed they work their magic again this year!

I have not seen anything about the swap yet at FG, but that doesn't mean it wasn't dumped into SPAM. has anyone else at FG gotten anything?

Shouldn't they do this by mail too? Too many variables with email, I would think. Although it doesn't matter for me, as I am not going to swap out my points, but others may miss their opportunity.

When did OIRC have their HOA meeting? That is, assuming they had one. Anyway they are a little further along in the process than Shawnee so it is interesting to see how this plays out.

EDIT: This time I had better luck with the search feature and learned that OIRC had a special meeting on 10 September. That's a little more than a more before some of the Shawnee meetings were held 18-20 October. I only mention Shawnee because that's where I am and we seem to have a number of other folks on here interested in Shawnee.

As @HitchHiker71 has noted, two of the Shawnee HOAs will take longer to sort out. But if we apply the OIRC timeline to Shawnee, maybe we will see a bankruptcy filing end of November/early December; that is, if the lawyers dont feel it is necessary to wait until all the HOAs vote.

I haven't seen anything from Glade either.

I just clicked on the attachment on this BBS and it is the right one. It should be a PDF of the email I received. No idea why when you open the attachment it is different than what I am seeing and posted.

I am seeing the same thing as @chapjim . It is an email from Wyndham Rewards about Ticketmaster. When you click on it, perhaps it is opening something local to your machine. Try going in to a private (ingonito) window and open it. You likely need to reattach it.

I went to an update at Wyndham Shawnee today. They told me a Margaritaville was opening in the poconos. However, I can't figure out if it's the Wyndham Timeshare version or the other Margaritaville development. They are two separate things and so they did not lie because a Margaritaville will open even if it's not part of Wyndham.

I don't see anything about it on the Coming Soon page for Margaritaville Resorts (not vacation club). Though AI seemed to indicate that one was planned for the Poconos with an opening in 2024 but construction hasn't started. It could possibly be like Nashville where it could have a couple floors of Margaritaville Vacation Club units, or it could be like Pigeon Forge where Wyndham has some units for some time until a certain arrangement ended. It could be also like Atlanta and not have any access for Club Wyndham owners at all even though it is a Margaritaville Vacation Club. Then it is most likely just a Margaritaville Resort and not related to Wyndham at all. Which is most likely.

Was this a sales presentation? I wouldn't trust a single thing any of those people tell you.

My apologies......not sure why that is happening...
Please try this one and let me know if it is correct.
I am clicking on the attachment and it does go to the correct PDF

Of course! Just in September they tried to get me to buy 500,000 CWA points so I could continue to book Shawnee Crestview because it was fully owned by Wyndham and may stay open. WHAT A LIE! I won't fall for their sales pitch when I know better. If you look at all the Margaritaville Hotels and Resort locations, they are great but none are Wyndham Timeshare Resorts.

The language here is a bit incorrect, I would think.

“As a result of the decision, once the property is sold you will no longer have
points associated with Club Wyndham Plus.”

The sale isn’t going to happen January 1, 2026, but I thought points go poof on that date?. Ambiguous if you ask me.

I am holding off paying my 2026 dues until I know for sure what is going on....what if I pay my dues and the property is sold. No use of 2026 Points? And if I don't pay my dues, do I lose out on whatever (if any) proceeds of sale? Really not a lot of information to make a decision at this time.
Ed

As a result of the decision, once the property is sold you will no longer have points associated with Club Wyndham Plus. This change may influence your Club Wyndham Plus membership and upcoming travel arrangements. Please be assured that all current reservations made either with points affiliated with your Orlando International Resort Club ownership or deeded week(s) will be honored through January 1, 2026.

I believe on the bankruptcy proxy they mentioned suspension of 2026 dues. At least they did for Fairfield glade if memory serves correct. Others here would know.

I got this email from Wyndham. Two problems. I do not own at the Resort. In fact I do not own any Wyndham Resorts or Wyndham Points. Also I am not the addressee. I have no idea why this email showed up.
