Wyndham II account

Has any one have an II account set up recently? How long did it take? I was told 1-2 weeks originally. I am at 4+ weeks now. When I called last week, a very helpful agent called II and told me they could not find my application. He told me to call again today. If there is no II account set up, they will try to look more into it. Now when I called today, the story changed again to 6-8 weeks. I am just afraid that my application was just lost and if I don't do anything now, I will have to start over in another month.

I am only talking about the time to set up II. My Wyndham account was set up in May. They first set me up with RCI by mistake. My original purchase date was made in Feburary. This is certainly the longest process for a timeshare purchase for me.

I had my II account set-up about 2 year ago, and the process was not long at all. If you call WYN and tell them you want to do a trade with your points ASAP they can get your account going in a day. If you kept a copy of your application call WYN and be persistent. The squeeky wheel theory.

I had the same problem with Wyndham, took me about 4 months to get my II account set up. They tried to put me into RCI as well. I really don't think that they want people trading with II unless the member forces the issue, so get on their case, fill out another II application if necessary and don't stop annoying them until the II account is set up.

I am in the same position. My Wyndham account was established on June 17th, but I am still waiting for my II account. Originally, I was told that Governor's Green (my resort) was no longer trading in II, but that problem has been corrected. They are now saying another 2-3 weeks for my II account. I really want to exchange my week now, so I hope they get my account set up soon.

I finally got my II account

It took me over four weeks from the time Wyndham submitted my II application. I was told 1-2 weeks originally. When I call after two weeks, I got the 4-8 weeks answer most of the time. I got lucky twice when I talked to someone who immediately offered to call II for me.

The whole process from ebay purchase took me almost 6 months. I am so glad it is over:whoopie:
