Hello,
I've been reading a ton of what people have posted in the past about doing the cancellations. It says verbatim:
"12. Cancellation. MEMBER MAY CANCEL THIS AGREEMENT AT ANY TIME PRIOR TO MIDNIGHT OF THE SEVENTH (7TH)
CALENDAR DAY AFTER RECEIPT OF THIS FULLY SIGNED MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT. To cancel, you must notify Wyndham in
writing of your intent to cancel and all Membership materials must be shipped back in good condition. Your notice to cancel shall be
effective upon the date sent" followed by the address and attention details of where to send it.

My Cancellation letter is as simple as:

Wyndham Vacations Resorts, Inc
Attn: Account Servicing Operations-Rescission Dept

Regarding my contract # for the purchase of a Club Wyndham Discovery at Wyndham by Margaritaville resort in Atlanta. We are exercising our legal right to cancel this contract. Do not make any additional charges to my credit card. Please confirm my legal rescission in writing.

Sincerely,
Signatures of myself and the co-signer with both dated.

I don't know exactly what they want so I included everything I walked out the door with and a copy of the contract itself. That being the pamphlet, the booklet, the denim bag, and both timeshare proposals (we accepted neither of them). I'm still within the first 3 days since signing and planning to send all of this tomorrow afternoon via Certified Mail with Return Receipt and as fast as the USPS can send it. My question would be is this too much or is this acceptable? I saw all that was really needed was the membership material, the signed and dated cancellation letter, and the contract "Cover letter", but I wasn't sure exactly which that was and if "Date sent" was when the USPS date stamped it for mailing. I'm a bit concerned it may be too much and may cause problems. Thank you for any and all help in this regards.

What is too much? Short letter, materials included. You are fine.

A thought came to me overnight. I paid for them separately before the tour even began. It was a "giveaway" for a 3-5 day cruise, a 2 night stay, and a $100 gift card. Should I send all of that information back too?

This part of the letter is unnecessary. By rescinding you are already asking them to not make any additional charges and they are under no obligation to provide any confirmation, in writing or otherwise. They will just refund you any monies paid.

If you were provided a gift for attending a presentation, that stuff doesn't need to be returned. If it was given to you as part of the purchase then it should be returned. These sound like gifts for going to the presentation and don't need to be returned.

I paid for them prior to even appearing for the presentation, but didn't get them until I appeared for the presentation. That's what worried me about those. I didn't know if that was enough of a link between the two.

I was just thinking to be extra thorough as was mentioned in an earlier post. Thank you for telling me though. Really appreciate the help from folks here.
