WYNDHAM Club reservation Bonnet creek options to cancel?

sorry I don't really understand anything about timeshare but thought this would be a good place to ask! My mother in law made a reservation for us with WYNDHAM Club to Bonnet creek orlando check in 8/5, but unfortunately my daughter broke her arm and needed surgery, so I was really hoping we could change the reservation date to a week later, what are our options? I don't think my mother in law really understands how this works either Any tips/advice would be appreciated!

You can cancel a reservation without losing the points as long as you cancel it 15 days before the check in date. Not sure what is available right now but when it gets down to that 15 day cancellation window for the new dates you want you should be able to find something. There are usually enough reservations that get cancelled that you would find something in a two bedroom at Bonnet Creek. We really like Star Island and Reunion too so unless you have your heart set on Bonnet Creek take a look at what is available at those two resorts.
 
There currently is a 2-bedroom unit available at Bonnet Creek for check-in on August 12. You should cancel the Aug 5 reservation and grab this one before its gone.

Thank you, We're able to get that August 12, 2 bedroom and she got some points back even better! Now my baby girl will have time to heal and have fun on our vacation. I really appreciate the help!
