There are three kinds of Wyndham points...In their use there is no difference in the standard and express booking windows (10 months ahead of your check in date. The difference is in the advanced reservation priority window (13 months to 10 months ahead of your check in date)
There are 1)udi deeds and their points, 2)deeded fixed weeks converted to points and 3)Club wyndham access points (no deed)
If advanced reservation priorty for a particular week at a particular resort is your goal, than it will make a difference what you buy, if ARP is not an issue, then "points are points" It really dosent make a difference (except of course the cost to buy and the annual maintenance fees)
