Hello! New to the TS world, this is my first post and today is my first purchase!!(wyndham points) which I am purchasing resale. I have a few fast questions if anyone has a moment to answer. Cheers and thank you in advance

1) What is a good reputable place to pay to transfer this deed and do the sale

2) The anniversary date is almost here and there is no way the property will be transferred over fast enough for me to use the existing points, is there a way to bank them with rci or somehow the present owner can get them to me as they will not be using them (I also wouldn't have time to utilize them before the anniversary date) or are they just gone forever. I could be wrong but am under the assumption points don't bank forward with a resale and that they disappear if not used the same year.

Again thanks for any advice, Take care and have a beautiful day!

A attorney of your choise in the state the resort is located in.

I do not care for RCI. Suggest credit pooling any that the owner can get credit pooled. Be sure if credit pool is available that the timeshare is the only property in the sellers account.

It's not possible to save expiring points by credit pooling. That has to be done before a use year begins.

RCI is really the only solution and then I think there's a complication of getting his RCI account contents transferred to your RCI account after the property is transferred. Of course there would a fee for that.

The present owner could make a reservation for you and transfer it to you with a guest certificate. That would require your travel before the expiration date. Do you have time for a quick trip?

Otherwise, yes, they will be gone forever.

Our wonderful TUG forums have a section where members discuss and rate the companies they've had experience with for buying, settling, selling, etc. Check it out http://www.tugbbs.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=56

Good luck and welcome to TUG :)

A VIP gold or platinum owner can deposit points into the credit pool up to six months into the use year. This could be useful information to you if the membership is one of those two.
